POP + Offworld is hosting Sam Rothstein with three other special guests.  The Ohio rapper is known for his grungy sound accompanied by sophisticated lyrics and complex rhymes that explore the moral issues of capitalism and  consumer culture.


CRAFT 5/10 - PVRTY HVRD, Martin Hayz, IOTA + more! - May 10th - The Grasshopper Underground

Ready to get down with PVRTY HVRD and a great line up of local DJ's to kick off your weekend? The Grasshopper Underground has you covered, offering $3 local craft beers and  DJs serving up local craft beats. Head lined by PVRTY HVRD (two local DJs Roman Holliday and Ryan Lew).  Jerry Huynh ends the show. He had made his debut just last month and is a someone to keep an eye out for


de' Art of the Bando - May 11th - 3500 Garland Detroit 

Calling all underground heads. Dosfromthepack is throwing de' Art of The Bando!  It's shaping up for what should be one of the best rap and hip-hop shows all year for the city. Featuring 25 artists for only $5 it's the best deal all weekend. Drinks and food are included with the price of admission. Boasting a 420 friendly atmosphere, with art exhibits and giveaways.


Sango / Kaelin Ellis / Epicure / Marr Grey  - May 11th -El Club

El Club and React Detroit present Sango. Hailing from Seattle, the record producer and DJ  has been making music since 2010. He is currently touring to promote his latest studio album "In The Comfort Of". which was released early 2018. With a very unique style of mixing, he is perfect for those wavy introspective nights. Support by Kaelin Ellis, Epicure, and Marr Grey  


666chainz wsg LIL BOOF, Manning Allor LIL, PYR$ -  May 11th - Sanctuary Detroit

Sad BOIIS and GORLS fam it's time to get litty with local talent 666chainz and friends. Cheffing up the beats and sending that A E S T H E T I C  vibe all night. You might recognize him from Vine or if you are a fan RuPaul's Drag race. As he has done supporting acts for two of the stars (Adore Delano and Kim Chi, at 2016’s Motor City Pride) His melancholic sound coupled with LGBTQ+ rights advocacy is surprisingly refreshing and cathartic. This night should leave the auidence feeling transformed and in touch with their sad side


Whaterverfest 8 - May 12th - Tangent Gallery

So excited for this one! Tangent Gallery hosts the 8th installment of Whateverfest. One of best showcases of local talent. With a line up that crosses over all genres there is a little bit of something for everyone. Also a great way to expand your musical tastes and get familiar with the next generation of artists Detroit has to offer. This event features over 40 bands on three different stages. At only $10 for the day it's too good to pass up


Backwxxd Palace - May 12th - 802 State Fair Ave E

Join in for Kitty Kv$h's 21st birthday party!  Put on by Tez Honcho and Trap Jesus. Lot's of fun with this local line up. Very 420 friendly. Bring some backwoods for Kitty or  proof of purchase for Her first EP  "Hello Kitty Kv$h”. Kitty Kv$h has been making music since 2016. She has a down tempo aggressive yet beautiful sound, sure to get the party going.  


Thots & Prayers - May 12th - Temple Bar

 Detroit's most premier reoccurring LGBTQ+ party. This is a warm and welcoming atmosphere, great for night out with a date or group of friends. Performances by resident DJs  Bently James and DJ Jace


Day 26- May 14th - El Club

Keeping their 2017 reunion alive, Day26 is touring and will be at El Club. Since their formation in 2007. Day26 has been one of the most influential R&B groups in the 21st century. With the Legendary Puff Daddy as a front man. Come and enjoy music reminiscent of a time when Trump was just a shitty reality TV show host 


Magnify Showcase- May 15th- Saint Andrews Hall

RAW Detroit Presents Mike Fate for their magnify concert series. Mike has been making music in Detroit since 2013.  Releasing his new album "Fate" earlier in the year he is currently touring in support of it
