LAYD- May 25th - 15736 7 Mile Rd. Detroit 

LAYD  (Live Above Your Dream)  Music and WahWah present performances by Prada Leary, Mona Lyse, Okir, B Johnson, Casada Jones, MI Quan, and Chad London. Laying the back beat all night long is DJ Quicktunes, with special guest DJ Jalen. This great showcase of local talent at only $10 is one to work into the itinerary this weekend

Viva La Resistance IV - May 25th - MotorCity Wine

Rocksteady Disco and MotorCity Wine are at it again for the 4th year! This has always promised to be a great way to start off your movement weekend after show circuit. Providing a line-up sure to make even the most staunch techno and house snob swoon. Grab some of the house tempranillo and food by Tacos El Rodeo, post up on the patio and enjoy. Taking over the decks that night notably are Haz Mat, Peter Croce, and Pontchartrain

Official Movement Opening Party With Ghostly International - May 25th -Marble Bar

Breaking out all the stops to kick things off right with this star studded line up! Featuring international favorites like Matthew Dear, Tadd Mullinix debuting as X-Altera, Mike Servito b2b Derek Plaslaiko, and SHIGETO to name a few. Ghostly International is teamed up with Paxahau to present the first official Movement after party for this year!

Discwoman Detroit 2018 -  May 26th - El Club

This is always such a good show! The past 4 years the Discwoman collective has been throwing fantastic shows for good causes. This year they have partnered with the Ruth Ellis Center, with 10% of the proceeds  going to them. They are dedicated to helping LGBTQ youth in Detroit. Rave with a cause and enjoy some amazing talent by, Ariel Zetina, Josey Rebelle, Merachka, Moor Mother, Puce Mary, SHYBOI, and Volvox. There is also a day time set from 1pm-8pm earlier in the day

Club Toilet 2018 - May 26th - Menjos Complex/ Olympus Theater 

Heyyy all! It's that time of year again. Are you ready to have your night go down the toilet? I hope so, because this show never fails to be the greasiest, and most amazing party. Hosted by Honcho, Macho City, and Chris Cruse it's a very LGBTQ+ friendly environment. With a very adult and old school vibe it's timeless in taste. Interdimensional Transmissions and Tresor Berlin are continuing their collaboration for the third year running now. Highlighting a wonderfully diverse line up. With Local talent such as Anthony "shake" Shakir. national talent Noncompliant AKA DJ Shiva, and international talent such as Adam X. This show is great start to the Tangent Gallery's weekend party circuit

I.T. presents 15 Years of The Bunker - May 28th- Tangent Gallery/Hastings Street Ballroom

Celebrate 15 years of the Bunker! Based out of NY the Bunker has been partnering with I.T. in Detroit to bring amazing shows for over a decade. This year is a special party and part of many that will be happening worldwide for Bunker throughout the year. Jane Fitz and Mike Servito are headlining. With support in the comedown room by Gunnar Haslam, Abby Echiverri, Clay Wilson, Beau Wanzer, and Stallone The Reducer
