PRhyme - June 7th - St. Andrews Hall

Touring in Support of their second album. Live Nation presents PRhyme!  With much anticipation PRhyme2 is out now. Following up on the duo's last self titled album 4 years ago. PRhyme is an east coast rap collaboration. Consisting of Detroit native Royce 5'9", and Brooklyn based DJ Premier 


Movement Appreciation Party  June 7th - TV Lounge 

Paxahou presents DJ Dez Andres and ERNO. Both artists bringing solid dance music with a Disco focus along with elements of hiphop, and house. Highlighting not only their involvement in the scene but also the broad influences they draw their mixes from. This all Detroit party is for anyone still feeling those weekend vibes. Take a celebratory lap around the dance floor, and thank you for making every movement weekend great! 


Little Boots and Nomi Ruiz - June  8th - The Works

MeanRed and The Works are Hosting Little Boots, and Nomi Ruiz! Flying from across the pond. London based Little Boots is performing a DJ set which should prove to be  wonderful blend of Disco and House. Nomi Ruiz hailing from Brooklyn. Is a wonderful master of electronic mediums. Having many pseudonym's She has quite the repertoire. These ladies represent the scene extremely well. Lets return the favor!




The FUNKTION- June 8th -Tangent Gallery/Hastings Street Ballroom

The FUNKTION is back! Hosting some of the finest underground artists in hip-hop,  international Funk, Rock n' Roll, Jazz, and Jam bands. Featuring two stages and 13 acts. Visuals by Zouassi 


Jhené Aiko -  June 9th - Chene Park Detroit 

Featuring Jhené Aiko with support by Ro James and Yuna. Based out of California Jhene Aiko has had major success in the last few years with her two albums. Renowned in the R&B and Soul music scenes. The quality and lyrical content of her music leaves the listener mesmerized in the world she created  


Macho City PRIDE Pool Party - June 9th - Common Pub 

Macho City is hosting a mid day soiree for Detroit's Pride this weekend! They have partnered with Ruth Ellis Center to help raise funds for homeless and at need LGBTQ+ youth in the Detroit area. Spinning on the decks includes Scott Zacharias, Mike Trombley, and Geoffrey LaRule,  with a yet to be announced guest appearance!


Sound & Silence Second Saturday's 7   - June 9th - Pop + Offworld


Taking place every second Saturday, is your new favorite pizza party. Hosted by Sound & Silence, featuring a rotating line up of local artists. This week is highlighting MC Friendly, DC(Dustin Clay), Nick Speed, and Deon Jamar. 


Motor City PRIDE - June 9/10th - Hart Plaza

Motor City Pride Parade and Festival  is back.With 4 stages, and over 50 artists performing in Hart Plaza accompanying the parade. This celebration of the local LGBTQ+ community is a fantastic way to commemorate our visibility  


Squatch- June 12th - The Fed


Squatch is a local Prog/Jazz band. A new group they have been wasting no putting in work to make funky, smooth, and long jam sessions. 


Kendrick Lamar, SZA, and Schoolboy Q- June 13th- DTE Energy Music Theater

Kendrick teams up with SZA and Schoolboy Q for his I am Champion Tour. Titans of rap and hip-hop should prove be a spicy mid-week pick me up  .
