Black Sheep Collective spent 2017 restructuring and looking to the future of music and culture in Detroit. The Collective was a part of the Rich the Kid concert at the CroFoot Ballroom, the Homeboy Sandman showcase at The Loving Touch, the Summer performance platform "Live & Raw" presented by Fanic Music. 2017 also saw the triumphant return of our holiday staple “Kushmas”, a marijuana reform advocacy event featuring music performances and shining a spotlight on medical business owners in Metro Detroit. We also launched Weekend Forecast, a weekly event listing giving our readers a chance to check out hot events in and around Detroit.

In 2018, Black Sheep is dedicated to providing opportunities for creatives in the Midwest and bringing awareness to amazing events & performances. We're now operating out of Broken Blanket studios in Southfield and we're looking to expand the team. Some of the positions we seek to fill are: contributor, street team promoter, and production assistant.

Black Sheep aims to improve our media platform to include more than weekend forecasts but event recaps, a new live performance series, and more. We will be giving you exclusive looks into Detroit's hottest events, artists and news. We're also building upon the events that we produce and promote, so you’ll be able to party with us all year! Black Sheep Collective will be growing in 2018. We have a lot of exciting things in store and we can't do it without your continued support. Thank you for a spectacular 2017.
